Yavapai County Food Handlers Requirements
Individuals working at food establishments must obtain a food handler’s card. The training course costs $15, and the certificate is valid for 2 years. Those working at temporary food establishments or event as volunteers do not need to obtain a permit. In addition, at least one person during the business hour must be a certified food protection manager as of 2001. The food protection manager certificate must be displayed at the food establishment.
